Mark your calendars!!! This year’s Bayou Bash will be Dec. 6The evening will feature Cajun food, great music (Fat Man Squeeze), and lots of fun. There will be silent and live auctions, and all proceeds will benefit All Saints' outreach ministries, which include 15 Place, McKemie Place, L'Arche, Mobile Area Food Bank, Family Promise, the Mobile Jail Chaplaincy, Alabama Arise and South Alabama CARES. This year, a nursery will be available for infants through 3 year olds! So mark your calendars and bring the whole family. For the Bash to be a great success, we will need everyone’s help. If you are interested in serving on one of the committees, please contact Curt Doyle at cdoyle@geoengr.com or Susan Meztista at suzyq325i@aol.com. Committee captains are: Auction—Sydney Betbeze, 690-7777, sydneydb@comcast.net Decorations—Charlotte Hall, 473-8281 Ticket Sales—Louie Wood, 478-3319, lwoodmobile@aol.com Set Up/Clean Up—Mark Taylor, 476-6224 If you are interested in serving on one of the committees, please contact us or sign up on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall. Tickets are $25; children 12 and under are free. |

We need quart size or larger glass jars for Bayou Bash to use for lanterns. Please bring them to the office and put in the box next to the volunteer desk. |

The Bayou Bash Auction Committee would like to invite you to… · Deck your halls with original artwork…by Joanne Cox, Mark Dunnam and others! · Fill your tummies with food…gift cards from Cafe 615, Felix’s Fish Camp, NoJa, Ashland Pub and more! · Stuff those stockings with…gifts from Ballins, The Holiday, The Pavilion, Ivy Cottage, Louise Doggett Antiques, just to name a few! · Enjoy a break with…a reprieve at the Battle House Hotel for two nights, a week in a fabulous condo at Perdido Key, or a week fishing and catchin’ up on sunset-watching on Dauphin Island.
When you come to Bayou Bash, get ready to bid on these and close to a hundred other silent and live auction items. For a complete list of items, be sure to check www.allsaintsmobile.org. We’ll be adding items through the week of Bayou Bash, so be sure to check back often!
<<REMINDER>> If you’ve agreed to donate an item, it is very important that you have the item at the church by THIS Sunday, the 23rd.
We have a long way to go to reach our goal of selling 500 tickets. WE NEED YOU! If each church member bought a ticket for themselves and sold two extra we could easily reach that goal. Tickets are available at the church office or by contacting Louie Wood at lwoodmobile@aol.com or 478-3319 or Curt Doyle at cdoyle@geoengr.com or 694-3019.
So, please show your support and buy tickets for your family and friends and come have a great time at Bayou Bash. Remember: all of the proceeds from the event go towards our community ministries programs and during these hard times, this is All Saints only means of funding these programs.
Bayou Bash DessertsCakes, cookies, pies and the like are needed for serving at the Bayou Bash. Anyone interested in providing a dessert of his or her choice for the Bayou Bash dinner is asked to call Jean Tucker at 753-1984. Many thanks! |
